Six UK companies will be heading out to the warmer climes of Dubai on the weekend to take part in the first ever UK pavilion at Sweets and Snacks Middle East. We have seen growing interest from UK business in the show due to the buoyant market for confectionery and snacks in the Middle East. Supported by UK Trade and Investment, the companies will be looking to find new business partners and use the show as a base to meet with existing business contacts. Here's a little more about the exhibitors taking part:
The Original Candy Company Stand G7-18- They will be displaying their eclectic mix of traditional candy treats made from all natural ingredients along with their gourmet chocolate collection Chocca Mocca.
Savoury and Sweet Ltd Stand H7-17 - Manufacturer and distributor of high quality popcorn. They have helped to develop some of the strongest snack brands currently in the UK market and manage the popcorn category for a number of own label customers alongside their in-house brand, Lord Poppington’s.
Candy Kittens Stand H7-13- Producer of gourmet gummy candy, based in Chelsea, London, UK. Their delicious sweets are made using all natural ingredients and real fruit juices whilst also being gluten free.
Duke of Delhi Stand G7-14 - Family business using Indian influences to make award winning biscuits, teas, hot chocolates, Bombay mix, chocolate bars, buttons and Bombay mix with chocolate.
Joe and Seph's Stand G7-16 - Gourmet flavoured popcorn using the finest 100% natural ingredients. Their extensive award winning range has popcorn in over 40 different flavours!
Hiva Sweets Stand H7-15 - Manufacturer of fine Middle Eastern style sweets for the international market.
Sweets and Snacks Middle East takes place in the Dubai World Travel Centre 27-29 October 2015. The show is co-located with Seafex (Dubai's leading seafood exhibition) and the Dubai Speciality Food Festival (a trade show for gourmet and speciality foods).
