Over 40 UK companies attended FHC Shanghai in November, all hoping to break into the huge Chinese market or increase their existing export business. All kinds of different products were represented on the pavilion, from regional ales, diary products, tea and even seaweed!

Exhibitors reported a great response from local buyers to their products, some had orders placed at the show! The show itself was busy, busy - it was tricky to get down the aisles to take photos of the stands at some points!

As well as meeting buyers at the show, exhibitors networked at the iconic Peace Hotel in downtown Shanghai, at the GREAT British reception. 170 guests attended the event which offered a fantastic chance to meet buyers before the show, and take some snaps of the amazing view.

'We attended FHC as part of the British Pavilion this year as part of our first ever market visit to China. We found the organisation and quality of the event to be outstanding. The store visits and market industry talks were very well sourced and run as well providing great levels of information on the Chinese market which can seem baffling at times. At the event we met many new potential customers for our products and are already starting to supply some new accounts with larger business coming in the future based on the current leads.
