British Food and Drink Brands Target Japan for Exports at Foodex 2019
As the world’s third largest economy and one of the biggest food importers, Japan is an attractive market for UK business. Japan is the UK’s 18th largest export destination for food and drink and with the with the Rugby World Cup being held in Japan this year and the Olympic Games in 2020, there is great opportunity for food and drink companies to showcase their products. Food and drink exports to Japan rose by 5% in Q1 2018, from Q1 2017, to £56.7m
With the potential for British food and drink in Japan very strong, we are pleased to announce the UK exhibitors taking part at Foodex 2019.
