Hong Kong Calling!

Fresh from a great week in Hong Kong for the Hofex exhibition, many UK exhibitors report how positive they are feeling about the quality of visitors to the UK Pavilion and how promising some of the leads generated by attendance at the show are looking. 

The opening day saw a flurry of VIP visits to the UK pavilion including the First Lady of Hong Kong as well as a tour by the British Consul General.  A networking reception at the British Consul General provided a bespoke opportunity to meet key importers and retailers in this popular export market.

Exhibitors benefited from a private tour of the Great Food Hall, Hong Kong’s most premium supermarket, owned by Park n Shop Goup and it was great to see the enthusiasm of the General Manager for British brands and premium imported goods which are highly sought after by discerning Hong Kong consumers.And of course, we couldn’t leave without taking the chance to have a tour of Hong Kong harbour and marina on a local Junk, including a fantastic feast of local seafood.  A great chance to admire the Hong Kong skyline and waterfront as well as the local delicacies!
