Kicking off 2019 at Winter Fancy Food

Winter Fancy Food in San Francisco is part of the popular series of Fancy Food tradeshows and targets US buyers looking for gourmet food and drink.  We are delighted that several UK food and drink companies will be exhibiting on the UK stand at WFF 2019 taking place 13-15 January.

The Winter Fancy Food Show is a brilliant platform for companies looking to expand their export business in the West Coast.  The USA is the world’s largest consumer market with 326 million people and retail sales exceeding one trillion dollars. It has a surprisingly young population (32% are under 25) so innovation and ‘new’ products do well in the market, as do British heritage items.  The country has experienced a population shift to the South and West, with the Northeast representing the smallest of the four regions. Winter Fancy Food offers a real opportunity for British companies wanting to get their products seen by the various US distribution channels and we wish all our exhibitors success in attending Winter Fancy Food this January.

Singletons Dairy – a British handcrafted cheese maker based in Lancashire. Combining four generations-worth of traditional techniques with new and innovative approaches to flavour, Grandma Singletons make delicious artisanal cheese without compromising on years of cheesemaking expertise and experience.

Scottish Salmon Company  are an independent and fully integrated salmon farming business wholly operating in Scotland.  Headquartered in Edinburgh they breed, farm and process their salmon in the Western Highlands and Islands and sell around 25,000 tonnes of premium Scottish salmon a year to over 25 countries around the world.  

Ty Nant Spring Water – The premium bottled water brand officially launched at London's Savoy hotel in 1989. The unique shape and lustrous colour of their bottles has impacted on the fashion and lifestyle world and now over 60% of Ty Nant is exported worldwide including America.

Also at the show, are UK dairy companies, The Fine Cheese Co, Somerdale International and Coombe Castle.
