UK Dairy Companies look to China to Grow Exports

China is a market which has seen huge growth for UK food exports. According to FDF statistics, between 2015 and 2017 UK food and drink exports to China have risen by 94.7%.  The UBM run tradeshow, FHC takes place in Shanghai on 13-15 November.  This exhibition been instrumental for many UK companies in getting a foothold into the Chinese market and we are pleased to announce the 19 companies exhibiting at FHC 2018.  You can view the full exhibitor list here

One trend we are seeing this year on the UK Pavilion is the prevalence of UK dairy companies.  This is hardly surprising given demand for dairy products in China grew by more than 20% last year.  The UK exported more than £96m of dairy products to China in 2017.  This comes off the back of a recent government deal with China to increase UK dairy exports to the nation to £240m over the next 5 years.
